Dear Ava,

I want to start off by saying I am not entirely finished with the book. I just started reading it actually and I especially love the letters to Judy Garland. I find it humorous because Laurel can imagine herself walking in the neighborhood Judy Garland grew up in. I live a few streets away from her childhood house, and honestly, I would fear for my life if I still had to walk around the neighborhood. But I found it really cute that Laurel can imagine it and even mentioned our spring poppies. Amazing.
